Cosmonautix land on planet rock * "Energija" record release

Berlin's own sonic space explorers, the Cosmonautix, have just returned to earth from their journeys to the outer reaches of Slavic musical madness. What have they brought back? "Energija", a pumping package of what they call
"Russian Balalaika Speedfolk". The homecoming welcome party included pop specialists at Initiative Musik, which has officially given its stamp of approval to our explorers' debut album.
Jurij Gagarin would be proud. To enhance the head-n-hip rush, the band added their own special rocket juice in the studio. Plus they invited singer Shura Lipovsky from the Netherlands into their spaceship to sing with them on the Yiddish song "Rabejnu Tam". On 28th January the Cosmonautix will touch down in Berlin to rock the public at Pfefferberg/Haus 13, presenting the hottest hits from the record plus a few
special surprises. These boys are infamous for their wild live acts, so beforewarned: it's sure to be hot and sweaty.
