Arriving in wall-city West Berlin from Ibiza (Rainer) Kranich became the last manager of the famous music hall "Quartier Latin" (today: "Wintergarten") and - together with DJ Westbam - a rave pioneer starting "Die Macht der Nacht" ("The might of the night") in a big circus tent in 1987. For 10 years now he has been creating events and curating programmes for "German Arts".
