ZHAOZE is post rock with a Chinese style: the central voice of their music is a Guqin, a traditional Chinese instrument with more than a thousand years of history. Its delicate sound is electrified, amplified and set against heavy post rock riffs.

This creates a sound experience reminiscent of a Chinese landscape painting, submerging the listener in a unique imaginative sound spectrum, providing a soulful, dreamy poetic world.

Based in Guangzhou and after 18 years of existence, ZHAOZE have recently come to wide international attention, having been invited to festivals in South America, the UK, mainland Europe and Russia.
