Friday 10th of March
Lüül from the 17 Hippies comes back with his Band for a unique concert in Berlin at the Kulturzentrum Staaten! Nice grooves and friendly atmosphere!

Lingua Franca Ensemble will take you on a euphoric journey in which modal music traditions merge with Western musical elements. A mixture of Portuguese, Arabic, French, Italian, Turkish and Greek that creates a colorful sound palette.

Saturday 11th of March
BalkanBeats and Robert Soko come back this time presenting Ulf Lindemann aka [dunkelbunt]. Both Piranha Recording artists, we can reassure you that they'll make you dance till you drop!

Aly Keita is a member of a family of musicians from the Ivory Coast, who has been building and playing Balafone for generations. An absolute master of this instrument, Aly has been travelling the world many years now with this international band. Make sure to make a reservation beforehand!

Ticvaniu Mare is a seven-member upcoming brass band from Berlin. Their music features original arrangements played in authentic regional styles — an intoxicating mix of sounds from another time and another world — guaranteed to make you dance all night.

Sunday 12th of March
The Disorientalists are three berliners; Yuriy Gurzhy, Marina Frenk and Daniel Kahn from Semer Ensemble, who by choice joined forces to write and perform a musical based on the life of Essad Bey a.k.a. Kurban Said a.k.a. Lev Nussimbaum. "Who Was Essad Bey?" is a work in progress, performed regularly in the Studio Ya of Gorki Theatre Berlin.

Tuesday 14th of March
Lula Pena, the wonderful Portuguese musician, and the internationally acclaimed saxophonist Hayden Chisholm are going to have a unique concert this Tuesday in our city. Highly recommended!

Tinariwen, the poet-guitarists and soul rebels from the Southern Sahara desert, come back in our city for another dynamic concert. Their music expresses the aspirations of their people, the Kel Tamashek or 'Touareg' of the southern Sahara desert. The guitar is their weapon. Simplicity is Freedom.
