In the framework of Piranha Kultur's cultural event "Nights of Ramadan" around 20 youngsters a.o. from Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria had the chance to reflect their personal stories and perspectives in a joint creative process with professional filmmakers.
From writing till shooting, from composing own music till the final editing all participants went through a very intense journey closely attached to life & cinema.
After 6 intense weeks the youngsters are now ready to discuss their experience and present the results of their work in the official premiere of their short films that will take place in Kino Moviemento this Wednesday, 29th of June at 19:00. The admission is free - being on time is highly recommended.
The shortfilms are produced by Luca Borkowsky for Piranha Arts and were mentored by Javeh Asefdjah, Sina Ataeian, Dorna Dibaj, Andrea Iannetta and Fatime Kosumi.
