Piranha against FGM/C!

Until 21 July 2017 Piranha / WOMEX Film man Luca Jacob is on location in Kampala / Uganda to give a workshop to create and produce videos on FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION / CUTTING with the AIDOS team (ITALIAN ASSOCIATION for WOMEN in DEVELOPMENT).

The workshop is part of the project "Building Bridges between Africa and Europe to tackle FGM/C" supported by the UNFPA-UNICEF Joint Programme on FGM/C.

It aims to empower young people between 18 and 30 years old in communication strategies to fight FGM/C wherever necessary. Beginning with sharing the participants' personal experience and expertise on the practise, the workshop will support the attendees in producing videos - both during the workshop and in the following months - about and against FGM/C.
