Rasha Nahas - Live @ "Kleiner Verlag am Großen Wannsee"

One of the rare chances to see Rasha Nahas performing live again in Berlin is coming up: the Palestinian singer song-writer, guitarist and performance artist from Haifa will close the 16th edition of the "Kleinen Verlage am Großen Wannsee" on July 11th, under the Corona stars it will be a livestream event only.

The festival is celebrating the Independent publishing houses in Berlin and takes place at the beginning of each summer in the gardens of Literarischen Colloquium at the Wannsee banks. This year, it has a focus on Lilienfeld Verlag, and after readings sessions, workshops and book raffles, Rasha Nahas will be on stage as the music act that traditionally closes the festival.

Rasha’s „Weltoffenes Berlin" residency for 2020 is backed up by Piranha Records in cooperation with the Berlin Senate for Culture and Europe and The Allianz Cultural Foundation. Her unique artistic identity and distinctive sound moves between resonances of early rock n' roll, echoes of Weimar Cabaret and Free Jazz. After releasing her first EP “Am I” and touring extensively around Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas she is now about to release her debut album, Desert, in true Berlin DIY-spirit. Just in time, she will release tomorrow, July 10th, Tea Song as the first outtake from her album.

Save the date: July 11 at 21:00. More information in the links below.
