The biblical city of Babel and its infamous tower have received bad press over the centuries. Yet the tower could also viewed as a prototype radio transmitter, beaming out the sound of one vastly various, colorful world singing and dancing together. This is exactly how as Watcha Clan sees the ancient structure and they've entitled their new album "Radio Babel". While the band’s powerful live instrumentation touched with electronic textures includes the indigenous music of Morocco, Algeria, Israel, Spain, the Balkans, Turkey and France, "Radio Babel" is predominantly concerned with destroying boundaries everywhere. "Radio Babel" is available worldwide as digital download starting February 18th, just when the musical nomads head out on the tour trail. Catch them live in a city near you!
